Senior Full-Stack Developer

The role

You’ll build our engineering lifecycle platform end to end, from the data model and APIs to the interface engineers work in all day, and help set the engineering standards the team grows into.

What you’ll do

  • Build product features end to end with React and TypeScript on the front end and Node.js on the back end.
  • Design data models and APIs for requirements, traceability links, baselines, versioning and change workflows on PostgreSQL.
  • Build fast, dense interfaces: document-style editors, large tables and trees, diff and review views, and traceability graphs.
  • Build AI agent features for drafting, review, impact analysis and test generation, using tool calling and retrieval over project data.
  • Add real-time collaboration, fine-grained permissions and complete audit trails.
  • Integrate with the tools engineers already use: Git, issue trackers, CI pipelines, and ReqIF import and export.
  • Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests, review code, and mentor junior developers.
  • Ship through CI/CD with containers, monitoring and feature flags.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years building production web applications across the full stack.
  • Expert TypeScript and React, plus Next.js or a similar framework.
  • Node.js back ends (NestJS, Fastify or Express) and REST or GraphQL API design.
  • PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, indexing and query performance.
  • Testing with Jest or Vitest, and Playwright or Cypress.
  • Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar) and a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure).
  • Hands-on work with LLM APIs: prompting, tool calling, retrieval (RAG) and evaluating results.
  • Clear written English and comfort working remotely.

Nice to have

  • Experience building or using requirements, test or application lifecycle management (ALM) tools.
  • Real-time collaboration (CRDTs such as Yjs, or operational transforms).
  • Rich-text editors (ProseMirror, TipTap or Lexical) and large virtualised tables.
  • Graph data models and visualisation.
  • Safety-critical domains such as automotive (ISO 26262, ASPICE), aerospace or medical devices.
  • Rust.

Where you’ll work

Fully remote from anywhere in India, with working hours that overlap India Standard Time.
